Katya and Zlatina's Trip to Bulgaria

 Oct. 2004 Katya and Zlatina had a great chance to practice Bulgarian folk dancing with our friend Rositsa Hristova's dance group for a whole week, while in Bulgaria. Rositsa is a graduate of the Folkdance Choreography School in Sofia, has been dancing with the professional Zagore Ensemble for over 25 years, has taught folkdancing to the world-famous children's ensemble Zagorche, and has been distinguished with the Silver Award for her life time achievements in the field ot Bulgarian Folkdancing. It was great for Katya and Zlatina to refresh some of the dances they already knew and to learn new ones.
