Constant Almost every time we make fire in our back yard or somewhere else, be it to roast some meat and vegetables, be it just for the ambience, we end it with walking on the hot embers. Sometimes with friends, more often by ourselves. But it's always under the sounds of the Nestinarsko Horo, regardless of whether it is coming out of a sound system, is played on the gaida, or is just hummed to get us in the mood. Some call this 'nestinarstvo', but it's not like what they do in the Strandja mountains. Rather, it's more like what can be seen at the Black Sea resorts. Call it what you wish, we feel it maintains our connection with our Bulgarian ancestry.
